Fall Family shoot

We did it again... our family shoot, this time with my extended family... Mom, sister, brother in law, niece and nephew...
I made everyone where the same shirts and I thought it turned out well... no matter how much complaining there was to be had...:)
For a wall portrait I decided to do a 16x20 with 3 images as they all turned out so nice.
A wall portrait like this could be done in a canvas wrap, framed with a matte or plaque mounted, we are going with the plaque to match a portrait we have in the same room it will be displayed.

I hope you enjoy your fall and I will be posting new weddings in the very near future... for now, savour the colors and enjoy the weather while we still have warm days:)

A Sweet Wedding

I wanted to share a few of the photos from this wedding Cindy and I photographed just outside of Spruce Grove last year.  We loved this couple and our time together.  Their reception took place in Stony Plain at the Best Western Hotel where the hotel staff took extreme measures to guarantee an amazing time for the Bride and Groom and their family and friends.
Spruce Grove and Stony Plain have beautiful modern, country and historic photo locations which I have enjoyed throughout the years.

This is our family photo, it was taken at my good friend's home in October, just outside of Barrhead, Alberta. We love this image and I just wanted to share it here so you get to know me better by seeing who I am and who I love most... my family.

It's 2 days before Christmas and I am reviewing what I need to get done still... I feel very organized and ready for the big day.

Christmas is a great time to reflect on the people who are in your life and the love that flows so abundantly. I am grateful for my family, I love them so much. I couldn't imagine a day without them in it.

As we head into 2011, I am looking forward to an even more productive year and new goal setting. Business was great in 2010, but we are going to outdo ourselves this year, by the grace of God and alot of team work.

Bless you all through this most miraculous time of year and I look forward to seeing you all in 2011...the year of new beginnings :)

I love weddings, and I love the romance it brings... I am missing our wedding season here in Edmonton, AB as the weather is so much nicer in the summer.

It seems maternity photography is getting alot more popular and I am getting more experience and loving the pregnancy shooting. It is very beautiful and such an incredible joy as you know that baby will soon enter our world and I get to meet it when it does arrive. The happy mom and dad to be are so proud and glowing and they are such a joy to be around. Maternity photography is a gift to yourself and your newborn, an opportunity to document your time and how you looked at such an amazing period in your life... keeping the memories alive and sharing it with your new loved one is a blessing for you all.
